Put it the other thread.

From what in hear from people who work there they were planning to base the tickets on how many cup games you attended.

They didn't mention ST or loyalty points.

Aye, I'd say Newcastle as well.

Is it worth a thread in here/the Tickets forum for beambacks/events, etc going on around the city as they get announced?

I'm obviously heading over, but my mum is gonna come with this time and the last time she was here was for my first game just the 16 years ago. First game to Newcastle for a cup final. She must think we're class. And we are too.

If people could post fanzone updates and that on here I'd appreciate it lads. I don't get the local news but I'd love to be in a fanzone or something similar if its about. That should be the next best thing to being there I'd have thought.

I find myself celebrating, then I suddenly feel like this isn't real, it can't be. Then I think about how ridiculous Eddie Howe is to have pulled this off, not just the final, everything!

This is incredible. The team work involved in Longstaffs second has got me foaming at the mouth.

Don’t set the lad an impossible task looking for positive previous cup finals. He’ll be raiding antique Newsreels from Tyneside Cinema!

Make history, lads. Please.

"cup specialists Newcastle United"

edit:

So last time we won a domestic cup we were playing against ten men cos they got an injury and there were no subs, and one of the players was in the country because he came as a PoW. It's been a bit

Hopefully not? That's stupidly late for people to get back home on the trains after.

I reckon 5pm is the earliest it'll KO and it wouldn't surprise me if it ends up being later. Not least because Man U have a 5:45pm kick-off on the Thursday in Barcelona - so I suspect it may go to a 6pm or evening kick-off to get them over 72 hours break between games.

Yeah just hope the occasion doesn't get to any of the lads and we play to our best. If we play our best game and still lose I think it would be easier to stomach.

I also think if we play our best and you have big Joe and everyone pressing and ragdolling players like we did in that first 20 mins last night, not even Man U would be able to deal with it. But we would need to sustain it for the full 90.

There superior players are Varane, Casemiro, Bruno (if allowed space) and ofcourse Rashford who is in the form of his life. The first two I mentioned mainly because they have been there and done it so many times in big finals that they will have that winning and calm mentality that our boys haven't experienced. Also De Gea on his day can make big saves.

But play our best and we'll give them a hell of a game.
