I have no agenda as away games no longer interest me these days. I just think it's unfair issuing supporters with fake tickets that they know nothing about until they try to access the stadium. At least give them some sort of warning so that they can plan accordingly, whether that's an email or phone call the day before. You disagree with that, and that's fine.

You say that but you’ve always voiced an opinion on it and accused me of being out of touch on the topic. Do you agree that’s it’s unfair that those with points obtained but built up by not going to them for the majority of the games so therefore controlling who does and does not go to away games is fair? Particularly those with multiple season tickets?

I think you’re both right. Have absolutely no issue with checks as it’s evident from the numbers points are now dropping to compared to a few years back that it is stopping people from buying for every game with the intention being to hoard loyalty points. But being told by some jumped up dickhead that if I don’t stop talking I’m going to be in trouble would rile me as well. A day’s notice sounds like a good shout.

A day’s notice is fine as long as it’s accepted as notice to get there a bit sooner. Not an opportunity to then flag up you won’t be attending and therefore without a loss of a couple of loyalty points as otherwise the jeopardy is gone again for the purchaser.

Its a tricky problem to solve and even this suggestion wouldn’t of helped @Danh1 as due to no fault of his own or the football clubs and let’s be honest nor the train companies the quickest he could’ve got there was when he did 5mins prior. Knowing he had to get his ticket sorted in advance in this situation would’ve only saved a few minutes.

Maybe the slightly better solution is the NUFC rep is stood beside away turnstiles with ticket ready printed in hand and the proof of ID takes place more conveniently and without the risk of more delay of a printer not working which seemed the case with another fan. Also a contact number that you can inform of such events like being on a later train due to a suicide.

However something does need to be in place as the figures showed published by the club a few months ago and highlighted by the NUST there is a high % of people who’s tickets are being flagged up at turnstiles are then avoiding going to collect their valid ticket with proof of ID. Let’s be honest they do that thinking it might be easier to avoid a point loss but ultimately it’s the cause of a few empty seats also which is sad when there is a demand for them from other legitimate fans wanting to get on their own away day ladder.

More life in the RVI mortuary. Not sure why people are crying about a new stadium

Did you go? Out of curiosity?

I was thinking about this thread during the game and wondering if people would mention the atmosphere. Wasn’t the best by a long shot but there were some decent spells where there seemed to be singing from all I’ve the stadium. I was in the leases corner and it was fairly decent most the of the game without being spectacular.

I watched it on Peacock via an app and the atmosphere sounded good, the same app had the Sky feed and the volume of the crowd sounded quieter, not sure if it was just when I flicked between feeds or Sky turning the mics down.

The wolves game tonight

Aye in the corner same as every game

Getting worse by the week. @Heron trying his best as usual but pretty much silence

We've just gone 4th and won 9 games in a row

I just don't get it. It shouldn't matter if it's a team we should beat...

Must admit I’ve only been once this season but is the corner not as good as it was ?

Tried my best at the back of block T tonight.  Some about half a dozen rows in front joining in which is class but it doesn’t carry a lot of the time.

I was disappointed there didn't seem to be anything coming from the corner pre-game/at the start of the game. The corner is obviously the best part of the ground, so don't want to criticise the people there, but since it's the closest thing we have to a singing section and can influence the wider ground, I hope for more. Good on Heron.

Aye he's a legend. Got the loudest voice known to man and doesn't give a fuck if he's singing on his own

People just think I'm being miserable whinging about it all the time but I just don't understand how the place isn't buzzing after we've won our 9th game in a row and went into 4th?

Was there for the Bromley game and was surprised how many people in there dont actually contribute anything to the atmosphere. Two blokes next to me never opened their mouths all game expect to talk to each other about how no members deserved tickets to any final we get to because “where we they when we were shit?”. They then both left after 70 minutes and never came back.

Didn’t think it was great or shit today, however weirdly it completely dropped after our third goal. And then when they “scored” it was weird, as their fans made no noise. Not that there was many of them. 😂

Disappointing to hear if the corners going down hill the place is really struggling.

Think footballs fucked in this country for atmosphere, seems to be the consensus at a lot of clubs not just us.

Not sure what the answer is but it’s a big reason I don’t bother anymore.

I’m in the corner a lot and it was fine tonight where I go (a few rows down from Heron and more a bit more central)

People were singing most of the game and very few quiet moments

It wasn’t shit, but it wasn’t bouncing either. Probably what you’d expect from playing Wolves midweek in January

If there's ever a debate that there is thousands of season ticket holders who offer fuck all it's tonight. 500 members standing in the returned away seats offered far more than anyone In the leazes near me.

At least they actually tried to get a few songs going. I spoke to the trust and they have pushed for more standing but the club won't commit to anything until they decide on status of staying/new ground.

I'd relocate thousands, only way to sort it...

Mad isn’t it?

I think there’s people who want to chant, but as they are in isolated places, nothing takes off.

The demographic is certainly of an age where it’s stagnated somewhat. I’m in my early 40s but would still be happy to sing and bounce about. However I look around, and this is no ageist thing, but those in the 55+ category might as well be mute for the majority of the time. Even the yoof I’ve been next too aren’t arsed. Sat near some youngins the other day and they just blabbered about sneakers the whole time. Then fucked off on 72 mins.

all of this boils my piss, especially when some of those who want to make something of it, can’t get back in to do it.

however they are entitled to do what they want…I suppose but yes, baffles me why they bother. Same as those that spend more time in the concourse, having a piss, (doing coke),then leave early.

We lost a lot of good vocal fans during Ashley’s tenure, and not enough of them are back, or can get back in.

Difficult one. No real answers only that if we get a new stadium, everyone who wishes to generate an atmosphere needs to be situated together. Anyone else, go sit elsewhere.

Corner was very loud tonight so fair play to those lads. Some good moments overall but 5/10. Wasn't as nervy as I thought it might be though, so maybe people are starting to have a bit more faith?

To the wanker in the platinum club who had a go at me for CLAPPING TOO LOUD, you are a CUNT and I hope you end up destitute so you can't bring your ridiculous fucking attitude into SJP ever again.

Overall thought it was a canny atmosphere tonight relative to a lot of recent games
