@Heron did much come of the survey results and did Wor Flags get chance to present to club?

Not sure where it got to in the end actually. I'll have to ask.

Same old lip service from the club. They couldn’t give a fuck about away fans in the home end, they are actively encouraging it by opening up extra corporate seats without any restriction for the Derby.

The membership scheme in its current guise is a disgrace, coupled with ticket price rises it’s the death knell for SJP.

I have no doubt the place will be littered with football tourists on Tuesday night. The club is going down the pan and at risk of losing all identity.

What are they doing up in level 7 ahead of next season? Shame they didn't make that safe standing/singing section as would be good if away teams didn't sell out as well so it carried across.

So in a nutshell, no extra safe standing, and ticket price hikes in every part of the ground. Should do wonders for the atmosphere next season.

I heard a few weeks back from a person at the club that they were exploring additional safe standing. It sounded like it would be in place for next season but maybe plans changed?

If the atmosphere is anything other than spectacular tonight, it will be disappointing

Will solely be down to the tourists who are out numbered by season ticket holders.

Think plans would already have had to be put in place for it well before now if it were to happen. Consultation with affected supporters etc. Certainly now ST renewals are in it definitely won't be happening. Just don't think there's any appetite for it at all from the club, or to improve the atmosphere in general. The 1,800 in the corner was a token gesture in an area where many already stood anyway and the fact that away fans get 3,200 safe standing places here just says it all about where the clubs priorities lie.

Think even calling it a token gesture is being too generous, it was a "don't get the safety inspectors closing us down" gesture wasn't it?

Aye you'd be right there. Sort of thing the Trust should have been in dialogue with the club over really but as usual would rather just sit on their hands and do nothing.

Plenty of "tourists" and "day trippers" there today yet the atmosphere 2nd half was as good as ever

It's an easy cop out to blame tourists for sjp being quiet but in reality it's down to the regular fans to dictate the atmosphere

Fantastic atmosphere tonight but how have the club allowed tons of Barca fans in the home end? Had 3 of the fuckers sat in front of us filming every single Barca player and then celebrating when they scored the pen!

Thought it was really good, but hard to assess more broadly from the corner. Prob best recent one after the Arsenal semi - I missed PSG. Didn’t see any Barca fans

It was great all the way round, even in the opposite corner it was very good.

I know we never could, but if we could replicate that we'd smash every home game.
