People aren’t upset. One person seems as though they are and they sound a bit clueless so two reasons not based your argument on IMO.

Like I say I know the drill and what the craic is for decades… and I’m saying it was badly timed as the “scoreboard” were already joining in plenty and the atmosphere was carrying around the grounds lower bowl as well as it has all season and better than some of the bigger games. Hence my point it seemed an odd thing for the “corner” to do on this occasion and seemed to backfire.

There was more than one i read yesterday. That was just the one example I gave.

Beside the point anyway as the atmosphere was dross once again for the most part on Saturday and its down to people like him in the example I gave.

Hopefully the wor flags survey prompts the club into doing something about it, although I doubt it.

I’d never take a couple of people on Twitter as any mandate going off previous experience.

I disagree. Thought it was good for 30+mins and definitely reverberating around the lower bowl more. The two goals before HT dampened things obviously. As did the quick reply to our equaliser.

Where were you sat in the ground?

We were in the Gallowgate and, at one point, a bunch shouted "The scoreboard, the scoreboard" & another bunch replied "The corner, the corner"

Brought back memories of days gone by. I almost felt like standing up and lagging down one trouser leg to add to the nostalgia

Where’s Tommy when you need him

Brentford fans were singing "no noise from the Saudi Boys" during the 31st minute. That was probably louder than anything coming from the home end (corner excluded).

It's bad when you have to put up with taunts of "Your support is f***ing shit" from an away end consisting of just about enough people to fill a mini bus.

How was it today for those of you who were there?

I thought it was good today from my seat in the ES at the Gallowgate. L7 corner was audible a few times.

Hats off to the little 7 or 8 year old laddie at the back of the Strawberry Corner leading the singing yesterday. Absolutely belter.

Turned round yesterday and seen some lad gan radge at you for singing Nick Pope

Thought you were gonna chin him

Knew I was being controversial but tbh when a player drops a clanger the last thing they need is loads of abuse from our own fans. Better to get behind them and try and pick them back up.

Kid was saying Pope is shit and they're all shit. I said we're in the last 16 of the champions league you fucking dickheed.

I thought he was incredible last night tbh. Gave the ball away a bit second half but him and Joelinton ran the midfield at both 11 and 10 men. Absolutely dominated whichever no marks were playing midfield for them.

edit: sure I was in the Tonali thread

Only complaint from last night was nothing to do with the actual crowd but why did they feel the need to play Freed from Desire literally 2 seconds after that clown blew the full time whistle ffs?

Surely in that moment and the way the place was you just keep the bloody music switched off and let the crowd do their thing! It's such a generic song as well that gets played all over the world to get crowds pumped up but it wasn't required here.
