STM
Let's see how good Sandro is in 12 months time. Â I suspect we haven't even begun to see his potential. Â We really could do with a goalscoring midfielder to help him.
midds
Still find it astonishing more people didn't go 'A' on him last month. For shame

JT24
Wouldn’t swap Sandro for anybody.

Kanj
He plays more first time passes than I’ve seen anyone play for Newcastle.

Has a weakness not to try and get a grip of it with a bit composure and retain possession for the team if not himself.
mattypnufc
His ability to ping first time passes just shows his levels above some of our players mind. Already a few steps ahead in his brain. They often don’t come off as the players aren’t on the same level/wavelength. And that’s no disservice to the player, it’s just he’s next level.
Kanj
He’s atill so young, the passing will get crisper as he continues to develop. He’ll hold the ball longer or play the killer first time balls with more precision.  I agree with the posts above, don’t think we’re even close to seeing the final levels of this brilliant kid.
ponsaelius
It will be largely instructional. He was a much safer passer at Milan. Howe wants us to be quick onto the front foot.
Kanj
Safe, boring passing is naff
LionOfGosforth
Think those outside the club are only just starting to cotton on to how good he is. He'll be the next one relentlessly linked with moves away in the media, desperate to derail our progress. He has the lot and is only getting better, his trajectory and potential are sky high. As good as he was for Milan and often is for Italy, we're only seeing the beginning, Howe will unlock even more.

STM
Out of all of our players, Tonali is the one will be the focus of someone like Real Madrid. Not now but give it a year.  He's not just a great player but a great player in a precious position on the pitch.  Anyone can get their hands on a talented winger, full back or even a strong CB but players who play in DM of his calibre are much harder to find.

Unless it’s Real Madrid, Man City or Bayern Munich, I’ve got zero worries about him leaving soon. Loads of debt ridden giant names linked, but none with the power to get him out of NUFC.

Don't let him fall below 2 years. After Isak, I'd be tying him down next.

They're not exactly known for paying huge transfer fees. We need to be very clever with contractual stuff of our blue chip players. Juve being linked to him is lols. LionOfGosforth
Half his work almost goes unnoticed if you're not really paying attention. So many little nicks and interceptions that turn the possession over and get us going forward. An elite player in the DM position and only just getting started really. toon25
He's absolute fucking quality. Full of energy, a proper metronome in the middle and hardly ever wastes a pass. Fantastic at turning away from players too
gbandit
He’s pretty faultless, he could play for any side in the world, genuinely that good
