duo Posted Thursday at 07:14 Share Posted Thursday at 07:14 The genius in this is how Eddie found a system to play both Bruno and Tonali which allowed them both to shine. Tonali seems to be flourishing and just gets better and better each time I see him play. He is a complete midfielder - has everything in his locker - including an insane work rate. If we can pull this one off, there's almost no-one I can't imagine us targeting. He's absolute quality and Milan born and bred. I thought he'd be their next mainstay, a la Maldini. I come back this this, I'm still pinching myself. I might have been an FM nerd, but I've been buying Sandro Tonali on every game since he was 16. But in the real world, he was becoming to Milan what Maldini was, what Gerrard was to Liverpool or Raul to Real. duo Posted Thursday at 07:27 Share Posted Thursday at 07:27 Could say the same about Isak - Our recruitment in the first few windows has to go down as some of the best ever by any club.

Didn't catch who it was, other than "Chris"? Sounded like a posher, younger Pardew 😂 Agree, Tonali MotM despite the fact Murphy scored a worldie and should've had 4 assists, rather than the one 😂

healthyaddiction Posted Thursday at 08:18 Share Posted Thursday at 08:18 The italian media seem to think we are happy to sell him to Juventus for £70m. You'd need to double it to start the conversation.

ChrisMcQuillan Posted Thursday at 08:56 Share Posted Thursday at 08:56 Was a pleasure to watch him in person last night after finally winning a ballot. There was a point where the ball was in the Gallowgate/Leazes corner, and we'd just lost possession fairly early on. Tonali turned to check who was near him, saw a Palace player who would likely receive the ball next, then looked over his other shoulder to identify where the pass after that would go before their first player had even received the ball. He started positioning himself to intercept the follow-up pass. The Palace player passed as expected, and then made the follow-up pass. Tonali intercepted with ease. His reading of the game is sensational. In a split second he'd worked out the next two Palace passes and positioned himself to get the ball back before the first pass had even been played. Incredible player.

GWN Posted Thursday at 09:05 Share Posted Thursday at 09:05 he is part of the best midfield in the world currently for me, im not kidding. What a player , he's ours as well Isak Bruno Big Joe Murphy etc etc Absolutely at the top of their game, arguably the best set of players we have EVER had. JP Posted Thursday at 09:11 Share Posted Thursday at 09:11 He's like a seasoned pro with a football brain that's been there done it for 20+ years playing. Then has the best physicality attributes i've seen from any midfielder we've ever had. Passing range, weak foot, hell of a strike on him. Genuinely doesn't have a weakness?
