Agreed on all counts - and the new rules are weird; they even run March to March from what I can understand.

 

The only small advantage from the new rules for us is that transfer losses can be amortised over those three years too - which should reduce the impact of getting shot of someone like Wissa for a fraction of what we paid.

Would it be reduced if he was sold abroad?  Made the Gordon sale go down like Calpol for me - that was one of those moves where I think all parties could basically walk away happy and we can wish the player all the best.

On Friday night I had a dream that Sandro went charging after a long ball and ended up running off the pitch and into a shop window. Except the window wasn’t made of conventional glass it was some kind of flexible plastic thing made of layers of flexible plastic. Sandro got stuck in between the two layers and suffocated to death. He looked a bit like Han Solo when he was frozen in carbonate.

If he’s not fully committed to the cause I want him sold.  
 

Hanging on to players weren’t committed to the club was the start of Spurs decline.  You can hold maybe 1 player up for a year but you can’t carry multiple imo.

In what is a 25-28 man playing team.  You need 3-5 designated leaders. Thats the norm in any type of human group working towards a goal.  People that hold peers to account, to set standards, to communicate sentiment up and down etc. 

 

The group needs rock solid characters mind.  
 

I look at spurs and they don’t have it for example.
