Spurs aren't spending £100m on him. They have too many other areas that also need improving. Unless they sell their 18 centre backs I guess.

Swap deal for VDV. Added bonus that he arrives a hero for snapping the rat in two.

This 100m valuation feels like us saying "if you can get to 90m with achievable bonuses he's yours". 27 next summer. That's an age that will only tempt the biggest clubs on the back of a world class-level campaign. Midfielder market much deeper than most positions too.

No! Stupidity. Even hypothetically.

It won't happen but if it did I would support it. It's an upgrade- there is a reason he's the number 1 pick this Summer. His progression has been nothing short of phenomenal.

I mean fair, but I think we were very attractive at the time. I can't imagine Spurs are currently, but who knows? It just strikes me as a sideways move currently.

Look, you'd be very surprised to know that Italian fans' preferences for English teams are very different from what you imagine. Obviously I'm talking about my generation (50+)... in the 90s when Man Utd dominated we were much more obsessed with Liverpool, which at the time was rubbish... almost all of the many Italians living in London followed Chelsea (and I'm talking about before Zola, Vialli & co. arrived) or Tottenham, almost no one supported Arsenal.

Me and very few others supported Villa, then there was a small hard core group who adored the Hammers! In the early 80s I remember very well that, at San Siro, we had a large red and black flag with crossed hammers.

Does to Tonali really improve Man City or Arsenal ? And a a move to spurs he may as well flush his career down the toilet. Yet another summer speculation over our top players, it’s getting frustrating to say the least.

If we get anywhere near £100 million for him we'd be stupid to say no.

As long as we have a replacement(s) lined up, its a good deal for us if he's adamant he wants to leave.

If we're wanting to revamp the squad, getting somewhere around £180 million for Gordon and Tonali is great business considering the pretty below par season they both had.

Arsenal for sure, City maybe not.

Yeah, keep Bruno, keep Miley, keep developing Ramsey.

If Anderson and Tonali are both 100M midfielders, I'd be confident in us getting another up to speed. Anderson didn't leave as one, but his last season was injury-hit, so he left without us (fans) knowing how good he was. No disrespect to Nuno and Forest, but he must have been a decent chunk of the way there already when they signed him for him to come on as he has.
