I think Eales and Mitchel will go on to do a good job. But I think it’s also possible to say that in isolation this window has been extremely poor so far, there’s no getting away from that. I agree with this, except that I think PSR has made it difficult to judge transfer windows in isolation. You need to zoom out because if you are unhappy with the lack of activity this summer or having to sell Minteh then you can pretty directly trace that to overspending, spending inefficiently, or poor planning in 2023 (you can also be annoyed by PSR, the league, and having to talk about this but that's a different topic).
