NUFC Transfer Rumours

Also wondering if the Guehi deal wasn’t close, Elanga got shot down pretty fast, what have they been doing or have they just decided to end any pursuit today? If so why can’t any journalist seem to find this out.

Surprised no club is making a play for Madueke. Guess most teams are holding off till January where Chelsea will be in even more of a pickle to get fees and players wanting out.

They're trying to buy more

They don’t give a fuck about the silly rules. They have self reported breaches from the Roman era yet no action from the PL

Journalists probably can’t find out because we’re literally not talking to anyone so there’s nothing to get from agents.

Something has dramatically changed 3 of them were in the first 2 windows and we don’t think there’s a better centre half option than Guehi, Kilman and Tosin if you believe the press at the minute.

May also be related to position. You don't know that something has dramatically changed. As of last summer, we know for a fact that we were willing ot buy a player with no PL experience.

Don't confuse speculation with fact, man. We've seen way too much of that on here for awhile.

The Elanga bid has kind of made it worse. We genuinely look like an amateur outfit.

Its so hard to improve on our squad that its almost impossible to find a player good enough they said. Bring on Elanga.

Chelsea are Jokerified at this point, just having an entire squad of players not in their squad, getting paid a fortune, telling them they're nothing, not even trying to sell them.

How did you come to that conclusion? Genuinely interested.

@nufc123 above has already answered. But the club saying only a small pool of players to work from and then bidding for Elanga hours before the deadline is amateurish.

Wasn't a bid was it? We've probably been making loads of enquiries today, just this one went public.

I agree it all seems rather chaotic though.

你是怎么得出这个结论的真正感兴趣。

Why can't we have multi-threaded negotiations? This is due to amateur reasons.

If Elanga is one of those "right players", why didn't we try to get it done earlier? He's not exactly an unknown mystery man in an obscure league.

The fact is the ratio of PL purchases to overseas purchases has altered since first 2 windows, might be reasons but it’s a fact all the same.

How big is Chelsea’s squad currently? Are they hoping to bin everyone off to Saudi that doesn’t go today?

Surely Chelsea need to offload a RW.

It’s worth looking at the latest information is that we have 35 “ senior” professionals ironically that is said to be the same number as Newcastle

In our 35 we have 10 under the age of 21 . I don’t think you have half that number under 21s

Given how shit Twitter's search algorithm is, that's a must have been some scroll-a-thon you just did. Fair play

They better start planning TOMORROW for the January window.

We should just start raiding South America for young talent that we can build up and sell on for huge profits.

Not exactly enough windows to suggest an ironclad pattern though. And it was still something 25% for the immediate squad last summer, and one who was immediately loaned out back to Europe. We've lately shown a preference for PL experience, but given last summer, it hasn't been exclusive. We also brought in someone from the European leagues for our youth set up, so we obviously have a scouting network for Europe.

It's these incomplete assumptions that I find disappointing.
