I do get the impression he's become more resigned to the fact we're stymied by PSR and he's not getting shafted by anyone but the PL. I doubt we can afford or attract anyone better that could work in the situation we are in. Eddie is perfect for getting the best out of players which is what we need while we can't buy top level ones as regularly as we would like and like our aspiring rivals do. Think he said the primary thing was keeping the important core of players, which we have done. We’ve also peddled some fringe players, hopefully allowing for some room to spend in the summer. Next priority will be to sign extensions for Schar, Krafth and maybe Dubs, and then prepare for a bit of a creative squad overhaul in the summer.
