No way Ajax are selling him, and if they would it would be at an insane fee that does not represent the kind of deal you are thinking of (3 or 4 of these profile players). He represents their future.

If he’s a Tonali/Bruno hybrid surely he’s far from perfect for us. We need a different a type of player in there for games like today.

Agree. In general I think we need more dribbling in the team. Cunha would have been great in a lot of ways but his attitude doesn’t fit. Sadly I think that’s the case for most players of that type.

It depends on formation - he’d slot nicely with Tonali in a 2 - if you want the perfect midfielder for us then that’s Ederson - I was just giving a Dutch flavour 

 

The problem we have is we play with a 3 - what hurts us when Big Joe isn’t there is the defensive cover we don’t get as Willock is more offensive than Big Joe

 

We suffer a bit from a lack of mobility - especially from 3 or the back 4 today
