He needs to consider it really carefully, as the coach heās going to play for is probably more important than the club. Ā Sign for someone like Howe or Emery and heās Englands next main man up top. Sign for someone like Postacoglu or the current mess thatās Man United and he could well end up as a bench merchant at West Ham in a couple of years. Ā Reckon he'll end up at Chelsea, which would be another crazy move

Ikon
Putting the Parish and Palace stuff aside, as well as likelihood. Who would people pick between Guehi (40m) and Huijsen (50m)?Ā Ā I think I would go for Guehi personally. Because heās more experienced and is more of a leader. But most importantly I think he would stay long term and be committed for longer.

Optimistic Nut
Aye, he's been really good again this season and if we can get him for around £40m it'd be a brilliant signing. Could be the starting CB for the next 7-8 years
Paully
AthleticĀ Ā Crystal Palaceās Guehi remains admired at centre-back, Burnleyās James Trafford has long been a goalkeeper target, while Brentfordās Bryan Mbeumo, Nottingham Forestās Anthony Elanga and Bournemouthās Antoine Semenyo are among the right wingers Newcastle have tracked, and Ipswich Townās Liam Delap is a striker they have closely followed. Significant due diligence has taken place on targets across multiple positions. Ā As for Longstaff, that situation is different. The 27-year-old has not started a league match since December 12 and he is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract. Should Newcastle receive a decent offer for the midfielder, he is likely to go ā the club exercised an extension in Longstaffās present deal primarily to protect his value ā should he choose to. Ā Willock and Barnes face uncertain futures. As far as I am aware, Newcastle have not been actively looking to move on either but, given sales will help facilitate the incomings required, should serious interest be shown in Willock or Barnes, there is a chance one or both could leave.
