For comparison, his combined record vs. Liverpool, Citeh, Arsenal, Villa, and Brighton is 20 defeats in 27 games.

His record against Brentford even is P6 W0 D2 L4. The data is all comps.

Bruno also covers almost the most ground in the PL IIRC. Probably not as intensely mind.

It's tactical isn't it, whoever Eddie puts in there they have to be covering the ground. Then it's down to buying the right players who can do that, but also have the quality to just than more someone who covers ground, as i think we've clearly done. Tonali and Bruno (and Big Joe) are perfect for what Eddie wants.

You could argue even longer when you consider the impact of Tonali et al in this most recent season. 

 

I don't think there's much of an argument in favour for last summer mind you; recruitment was objectively a failure but we got away with it. Selling Anderson/Minteh instead of Bruno or any other prized asset is in the positives column, but it wasn't good.

 

But still you couldn't make that judgement until after the fact.

It was a shocking window. What we achieved was a miracle considering. Being disappointed with that window is not bedwetting.

Agree. The 23/24 window was a considered a bedwetter during that season (Tonali ban, Hall not being played, Tino benched for first half) that’s turned out to be a cracking one in hindsight. The 24/25 window will forever be a bag of shit unless Osula turns out to be Mbeumo 2.0.
