Nah we still sign a striker of course dafty. Put simply there is no outstanding striker to replace Isak on the market, if we want a game changer we should be looking at an attacking midfielder to make up for the unpredictable factor Isak gives us.

He's 18 years old, 5 foot 6, plays as a number 10 and hasn't achieved hardly anything in his career yet.

 

Cannot see Eddie Howe sanctioning a move for this fella. Absolutely no chance. I would be stunned!

I reckon if you were to ask Eddie of all the transfers we've failed to complete this window which he'd have most liked to have happened, it would be Delap.

Pretty sure he was the first player we tried to sign this summer, right price at £30m, perfect profile of player and would have genuinely transformed this entire summer for the better if we had got that one done early. Of all the list of strikers, Larsen, Sesko, Wissa, Jackson etc etc. Delap is the one I can just picture in a Newcastle shirt in an Eddie Howe team.
