Sibierski Posted March 4 Share Posted March 4 Surely CB is critical position? Got to be looking long term, and outside Schar and Botman, we drop to Lascelles and Burn who’s slow as anything. Schar is amazing, but we really need a CB with actual pace in that defence as another option. If Isak's backup is literally just fit most of the season instead of injured most of the season I'd be a happy camper. Also who in the England setup mentioned that Gordon will finish his career as a CF? I vaguely remember a quote about that. He's a decent enough third choice - he can at least stretch defenses. If it wasn’t for the fact our squad looked so bleak during January then was possibly the time to move Wilson on or this summer. Unfortunately Isak similar to Wilson seem to be made of glass hence the need for some kind of 3rd option. Keeping Wilson next year doesn’t solve any problems as fitness record recently is so unreliable. I literally class Isak and Wilson as one player such are their fitness concerns.
