I was quite excited when we signed Slimani on loan. I was also excited when we signed Seydou Doumbia, Stephen Ireland and Facundo Ferreyra on loan. It's strange that my scouting career never really got started.

All of them actually had decent reputations elsewhere and I was excited to see what they could do here

so you’re not alone there!

Honestly I dont know if I want a RW. I am open to us playing Gordon RW and Barnes LW for a few matches to see how it works. I think Barnes does the cut in from the left and shoot as an inside forward thing better than Gordon. I think Gordons play style is very well suited to being a more traditional winger who beats his man and gets to the byline. That cross for Isak the other match. I'd like to see him play RW. I want us to sign a world class CB. I'm not banking on Botman coming back and playing like he did in our top 4 season. I'd love it but im not expecting it. Also Schar isnt young. Burn is ideally a squad player. Kelly can be cover at LB and at CB. This team would look much better with a VERY good CB. Having a depth or developmental RW would be nice. If we spend big I think it should be a CB. Maybe one of the younger portugese ones.

I mean, we urgently need a RW. Because it’s not just one we need in a short space of time, it’s two. As both Almiron and Murphy really should be tracking 0 minutes 25-26 if we are to take steps forward (well Murphy could as a proper emergency RB). So need to get a top one now, then a development one. Minteh was the development one, but a too good an offer came in at a time when we needed an urgent sale.

Eddie Howe would love to coach this kid

Great feet, can carry the ball and make a pass.  First thing  I thought watching the Southampton match yesterday was "Get him in and let Eddie coach him".

Omari Hutchinson looks class.

I wonder if he could he do a job on the right for us.

Actually has more starts at RW than he does as a 10. Sofascore says his strength is high pressing.  He just left Chelsea this summer for  €24.50m. Not sure they would want to sell in the winter.

He’d cost a fortune at the moment and in Jan. Still can’t get how things can be that tight this Jan PSR wise given the summer window

Will add if we can bring in a proper RW it could propel us to champions league

Something needs to fucking change.

At some point we are just going to have to fuck it, go against PSR, and fight the cunts in court. Fucking shit how we have all the money in the world, and have Murphy up the wing, a CB we got on a free from Bournemouth, a crock on the bench as our back up striker. Willock who is nowhere near good enough for where we want to be.

Think we might have to sell a big player to revamp the squad. No point holding on to specific players if tge team is so horrifically balanced we can't grt the results needed to push on.

Anyone but Isak, anyone else is replaceable.

We will be peddling Wilson, tripps and Almiron. Isak is the one people will be bidding for though. Don't think anyone will front up the money we will want though.

RW is an absolute must for January. CB if we can.

I can imagine Isak wanting away this summer.

We won't be able to provide him with CL football.

If he continues on current form throughout the season he can't blame many but himself for not qualifying for Europe with the number of good chances not being converted.
