ExiledGeordie
More pace at CB, a bonafide goal threat/game changer at RW and probably an attacking midfielder option is what’s needed. But I guess Gk will also be addressed and Wilson will have to be replaced if he goes.
Lush Vlad
36 minutes ago, joeyt said: Can't see Delap coming here to be second choice Same. I’ve been saying for ages. I’d love our right wing signing to be a goal getter that can also be our backup striker. No idea who this mythical player is. Someone in the mould of Mbuemo, perhaps. But a player that wouldn’t take up most of our transfer budget.

I think the only way that maybe won't happen is if we qualify for the CL and even then I think it's pretty likely. I could see us selling Bruno or Barnes because of their age, but the offer would have to be right. Otherwise we would probably just use our budget to buy potential at low prices rather than established players.

McCormick
@nufc123 Don’t know, does he? Not seen too much of him but what I have seen, he’s been nothing special. If we were contemplating spending 50 plus million on a centre back I’d have hoped we’d be looking at bringing a real game-changer of a right winger. NSG
1 hour ago, joeyt said: Can't see Delap coming here to be second choice Possibly, although if anyone can sell him the move then it’s Eddie Howe. Especially if he wants to be an England regular. If we do make the CL then he’d get plenty of game time.

Im no expert at all but if I was to compare him to anyone then I’d say maybe a poor man’s Kulusevski? I’s sure someone who watches more than a 3 or 4 Portuguese league matches a year will come along and tell you I’m way off . Not seen much of him, but he looks more of a playmaker/technical player.

He’s going to the top I think. For us the only question is if he could handle the move. He couldn’t even manage leaving Southampton to go to London. I’d like to think Tino / Hall are two good players for him to have things in common with.

kingxlnc
Get Dibling Delap and Trafford and our spine will dominate the England setup for the next decade. Those two plus Hall, Miley and Tino. Definitely possible especially as we can sell how much Howe can improve them.

pubteam
It’s hilarious all the gutter press going full out to try and derail our feel good factor.
