NUFC Transfer Rumours

Why aren't we loaning Ivan Toney and Ruben Neves, getting the Saudi's to pay their wages and sign a decent CB.

Because Any such deals are classed as related party ones and subject to fair market value which is highly problematic because they paid these guys highly inflated salaries and in some cases insane fees.

That equates to, you want Toney on loan? Sure then we deem his fair market value for a loan fee to be 10m and you also have to foot his 500k per week.

We've not tried any loans to know for sure. Loans of this type are tough to judge FMV because the loaning club rarely pays their entire salary. Many such cases.

We've not leveraged the Saudi league for incomings so we just don't know.

Doesn't matter if we've tried it's probably why we haven't.

And again, it goes to fair market value which we don't get to decide. Not a chance we get a free loan from Saudi from the PL. You know this.

It's just again people looking for loopholes in the wrong place.

Even if we were to say get Toney on loan and FMV was somehow judged to be 50% of his wages that would still be 200k per week

Ok, so explain Savinho to Man City to me then? Granted not a loan but certainly not FMV surely?

The fee they paid which was about 40m iirc was deemed fmv. Market wasn't as inflated as last summer and he came off one good season with Girona and his salary wasn't huge. It's ballpark but on the low side.

Saw a brief clip of than Man U fan giving the big I am. The dude who clearly isn't from Manchester and sounds more Brummie or something.  Couldn't bare to watch the whole episode with cunts like him and Rory constantly taking over discussions like they know fuck all about football.

So push the boundaries with a cheeky, low side bid for both, lets start fighting back! If it all comes out in the wash it's anti competitive we have tangible evidence where we were fucked over.

I don’t believe loans are easy to benchmark on fee or wages.

So many loans are done with favourable terms to the new team as a lot of first team loans are distressed. Villa wouldn’t have broken their wage structure for Asensio or Rashford with the loaning club paying at least half.

And there’s always workarounds. We can have a low fee and low wages. Bur agree a massive obligation to buy say £80m.  Then use a Chelsea like clause to only pay £5m to squirm out last minute.

None of these football rules are airtight. Some creativity goes a long way.

Our refusal to pursue any hacks makes me believe it’s a lack of desire rather than a lack of feasibility @r0cafella

Just don’t listen - it’s radio for people who use the word ‘bantz’.  Football supporting as a penis extension.  Who gives a shite what a sad sack Liverpool ‘supporter’ from Truro says?

I don’t listen to talksport it’s all stuff that comes up on my fb & twitter feed before I deleted it.

I don't buy this. Falls into the same recieved wisdom as Schär can't play in a back 2 for me.

He'd be well worth a punt.

Howe thought the same of Lewis Hall didn't he? Worked with him to improve that aspect of his game - took a while however

Mainoo uses the same direct agent as Delap and Trafford who both didnt come to us, none starter, plus theyve been in Munich etc for talks about him. Man u reneged on a salary and the anticipated salary is higher than what was agreed with a new signing.

However, i think he would be brilliant here and will develop into a hell of a player

That wouldn't pass FMV

Wages paid during the loan would be assessed, again because the Saudis pay inflated salaries we would be on the hook.

You’d have thought that thick bellend might’ve learnt his lesson after that Lewis Hall and Mazraoui comparison he did this time last year.

Let’s be honest is anyone surprised that the content creators associated with that club, mirror the vast majority of Man Utd fans we all know and love. By being classless, ignorant and utterly unknowledgeable fuckwits?

He’s the prick that said Woodward did more harm to Man Utd than Munich disaster. Astonishing

The manchild that said Woodward was worse for Man United than Munich. He's the one talking about other club's fans' 'headloss' ?

The only head he still had left to lose after that was taken by ozempic and microplastics, the stupid grotesque cunt.
