NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

I have a feeling this is the period where nothing happens for a week or so with us. Linked with Jackson, Wissa and Thiaw heavily over recent days, now prepare for absolutely nothing for the next week as we move at rapid pace to close the deals.

Fucking infuriating how slow we do things.

Sounds like this period will be the same as all the other periods then.

It’s a big if though, Cunha doesn’t exactly scream model professional and Šeško whilst exciting is still relatively unproven. Commentators who watched lots of Amorim's time at Sporting have suggested he isn’t really the ideal candidate for his system, heck there were an awful lot of media reports that Amorim himself was unsure of the lad. Mbuemo is likely the surest thing out of the three, but he wouldn’t be the first player to perform well elsewhere, that’s wilted under the pressure at OT.

Mbuemo is also going to be shunted centrally, which is exactly what you do if you've got a player who produces his absolute best from a wide position

Personally I'd lay off all attempts at a striker and concentrate on all other areas, strengthen the places in need like CB & CM. Maybe continue with Wissa as a 2nd striker, but that's it. Make ourselves even more competitive in all other areas and tell isak he can go regardless of getting another striker in, but it's £150m and nothing less. He wants the move thst badly, then his agent can go earn his money and make that happen. Revisit strikers in jan, where we'll have more money than pretty much every club and be in a different position.

This except tell Isak to stay until next summer.

I don't think he team mates will want to play with him, or him play for us, and the fans have to put up with his sulky lazy half arsed attitude. Price also goes up in the last 2 and then final weeks of the window. Deadline day it's £200m.

"What have we done so far"

"Nothing"

"Has that worked"

"No !!"

"Give it another week"

And then we get beaten to their signatures by Colchester United ( always wanted Colchester) Wrexham (higher wages) and Scarborough Athletic ( likes fish and chips and always wanted a speedboat).

I'm getting really fed up with all this gloating that's going on in the media and with rival supporters, every time one of the Big Six intercept a transfer of ours. I'd love it, love it, if we could stick it to them this season.

The majority of non Big 6 supporters are revelling in the fact that the likes of us/ Villa are being prevented from breaking the Big 6. They’re content that we’ll be hanging around with them regardless of the rules equally preventing them from being anything other than a feeder club to the parasites above them. Happy with the way money is distributed, understanding their place.

They should be kicking up a fuss not laughing about it. Never going to happen mind.

Hardly an inside scoop because it should be obvious, it would be terrifying if this weren't the case, and we've heard this all before, but they're expecting 2 signings this coming week. Presumably Wissa and Thiaw.

Where’s that info from?

Sources inside the club. It's a water is wet update though tbh, obvious at this point and not really worth all that much based on previous expectations that didn't pan out.

Squad for GW1 is going to be embarassing.

Fuck me I’m old, permanently annoyed with this window and the fact I can’t listen to the radio without wankers like Alex Crook belittling my team but how wound up I got at GW1 has genuinely made me burst out laughing!!!!

Thank you

I mean, it’s basically the squad for the end of last season minus Isak plus Elanga. Not what we want but nowhere near embarrassing.

So no striker - that’s fairly embarrassing given we couldn’t break down a bottom half Everton team in that last game.
