I know he's not as good as he used to be, but the last two players Ornstein has written an article about us being interested in (Wissa & Sesko) we did end up bidding for fwiw

Aye, whilst there’s been a definite upsurge in his non-update, engagement-farming tweets, the actual subject matter has still been very accurate fwiw.

AVB is Porto’s president and Andy Howe’s idol. Makes you think.

It's a fair point, as they actually have a relationship too right?

That Red Bull guy at Man United, I think his name is Vivell?! Apparently he was the one that took Sesko to RB Salzburg, and then from there to RB Leipzig and then now to Man United.

Can't underestimate these connections.

I've been an admirer of this player for a long time. He combines strength and aerial ability to create opportunities and threaten in the penalty area. His acceleration aids counterattacks, while his finishing shows promise with both feet and his head. He applies pressure effectively, disrupts opposition play, and contributes defensively with tracking and aerial support. His high work rate and direct approach enhance his impact in attack.

I find that he is more than just a strong striker who holds up play and distributes the ball. He plays the role of two attackers: a target man who occupies defenders and a mobile forward who finds space. If defenders close down the spaces, he acts as a traditional No.9; if they block him, he adapts to exploit openings

Now I want him you bastard.

Isn't that just what journalists write when they don't know what's happening?

You'd have to think there's some trigger for journalists to be confident enough to put out a statement like that. Especially with Ornstein, no reason for him to make this particular story up, unlike certain other things he's said this summer.

Probably clocked that we're just going down the most valuable forwards list on Transfermarkt so doing the same

Newcastle United are considering a move for Porto striker Samu Aghehowa.

The 21-year-old is high among the small number of options Newcastle are considering to bolster their attack this summer after missing out on several targets.

The club are yet to make a formal approach and there is no guarantee that the move will happen, but Aghehowa is a player liked by Newcastle.

Brentford’s Yoane Wissa and Wolverhampton Wanderer’s Jorgen Strand Larsen are also considered options for the Tyneside club. Wolves, however, consider Strand Larsen as not for sale.

Think Kolo Muani would do very well in our setup and style of play. Another great option.

Looks like things are picking up today. Surely we manage to bring in one of these for the love of God!
