That’s a photoshop.

it says Dortmund in the article

Hoijland, fuck no no no no no.

Unless he's just suffering the Man Utd striker curse. He'd be an expensive fucking risk though.

Kalimeundo, check him out.

24/25 39 days out muscle and hamstring again

Injury history.

I hope this rumor isn't true.

It screams Noooooooooo to me. Sorry Jacob, you're a fine player but you're made of glass.

He's the one I'd go for. Looks a player and good value.

Who would you sign that is available and would come here?

I think the market is unfavourable at the moment and would like to call Isak's bluff and reintegrate most likely if at all possible, but I appreciate that entire situation is not without a whole host of difficulties.

Of the names we've seen mentioned in the press, in no particular order, I would take

a) Either Strand Larsen or Muniz as cheaper/developmental punts

b) A cheaper alternative from the continent (Kalimuendo would be one example)

c) Ollie Watkins if the PSR calculations were deemed to be favourable and Villa weren't going to hold us to ransom to a ridiculous extent (two big ifs, I know)

The above would be with a view to re-assessing the market next summer, giving us some time to hopefully identify the next Isak/Sesko/Ekitike etc.

Signing Jackson would essentially be confining ourselves to signing a Chelsea castoff as our flagship no.9 for the foreseeable. There is no world where it isn't a huge downgrade.

Strand Larsen would cost similar to Jackson, if he’s even available. Muniz just isn’t very good, he can’t displace Raul Jimenez because he’s basically a decent athlete with very average technique and link up play.

We take ages to scout people and ages to sign people. Rightly so, because with PSR, we can't afford to buy flops. Trouble is that none of the abovementioned strikers have been scouted properly, and we'd take three weeks to sign each player. Meaning that it would either be impossible to get a great striker in in time, or we'd be doing a panic buy putting us in a horrendous position in both the short-term and for the long-term value of the asset.

Isak should have started his shenanigans much earlier, is the moral of the story. Not halfway in, when we were on the verge of signing his supposed strike partner/replacement.

Looked Tidy couple times I've watched him play, stats recently don't look too good but get him back to 21-23 form and we have a good signing

2 goals and 4 assists last two seasons, 21-23 it was 12 goals 8 assists

Those aren't good numbers, he's a good player but I'm concerned about the output.

Either Wissa or Mateta would be great additions. All the other Prem names being thrown around are average as hell, much rather go abroad

Not very keen on either, but does Larsen fit in with our style?

He is similar to Wilson in playing style so would fit in quite well, his ability to drop and play link with the wide players would also be of benefit considering the pace of Gordon and Elanga, along with his ability in the air and his high level movement in the box that he uses to find space.

While Isak is a great individual player, I don’t think he was the perfect fit for how we play, his hold up play was non existent and he didn’t offer anything to the team when we were under pressure. At times it was like having a functioning team with a rogue genius up front.

His profile is similar Sesko but he isn’t as quick, but then again how many goals did Isak score that was purely down to his pace on the counter last season? A couple maybe? He scored more headers than that.

I know this window has been infuriating with incomings, but in terms of getting rid of the deadwood, it's actually been really good

Wilson, Longstaff, Hayden, Lewis, Dubravka, Vlach, Kelly.

All taken out back.
