Ewen Jaouen (20) GK from Stade Reims has been linked with us.

I think there will be lots of links to young GK in the next few months.

Saw we were linked with Risser at Lens a few days ago. This is rumour I have time for

Gonna say the thing I've been at worst thinking for the last few windows. We need signings through the door the moment the window opens or shortly thereafter as a statement of intent. We can't faff about and worry about the World Cup, fuck that shit.

We should actively target players not at the World Cup too. Players are going to be knackered next season

We don't need to wait around for the World Cup, not so sure for players and agents though.

But that only applies to players "at" the world cup, right? We can't attract the upper echelon players and should realistically avoid the players that make a name for themselves at the competition as well. There's an entire category of potentially good players who aren't at the cup that we should be aggressively scouting and sounding out right now.

Sure, I hope so, a lot of players from all of the top leagues are at the WC though, it's not like it's only the superstars.

I hope we already have some deals in the pipeline, you're right we desperately need them to happen.

I take "observado" means "monitor". Can't beat a good bit of monitoring.

Heard we're even closely monitoring  this one.

They've moved on from running Football Manager in holiday mode to just asking Chat GPT.

Frankly, I don’t know why they bother putting that much effort in - it’s more than our scouting team does.  Just dust off the transfer targets we’ve bid on from the past four years and I reckon you’d be on the money.

Manchester United want Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes, 28, to replace midfielder Casemiro this summer - with the 34-year-old United midfielder endorsing his Brazil team-mate. (AS)

Surely only room for one Bruno

It could of course be complete bullshit. However I think it's a warning to us that if City want Tino they'll get him, Arsenal or Liverpool want Gordon ditto, Tonali anyone who will increase his salary, have to hope nobody wants Hall or Miley as that would be tragic. Know your place in the food chain.

Well I’ve read in different reports that Man Utd want Bruno, Tonali, Anderson and Wharton and they are not going to get all of them.

I can see us selling 2-3 of our big names but not all of them as the press seem to want to happen.  I’ve seen Hall, Tino, Bruno, Tonali, Gordon, Woltemade, Willock, Miley, Botman and Thiaw linked with moves plus there is Trippier, Schar and Krafth out of contract.  They are not all going to be leaving - just hope that doesn’t leave us with some unhappy players.

I don’t think Villa have this problem as I can only think of one of their players (Rogers) that is sought after by the cartel clubs although they have other issues to deal with.

There only $1.3Billion in debt, plenty of wiggle room to get all of them.

The media have always had a frenzy for our best players, we're not allowed nice things and why would any of them want to stay at little old Newcastle? We need to stop this victim mentality and feeding into gutter press sensationalism, we are here and we are upsetting the equilibrium and long may it continue, we might have the odd player who feels the pull of a red top team but we're not another "also-ran" despite how this season has transpired. We're still building for the future and that future has players like Bruno, Hall and Thiaw in it, there's not going to be some mass exodus, we will get it right, one poor summer and proceeding season does not define us.

It's wank. 4 years since the takeover, we ran Man Utd close first season, overtook them second season, pillared them third season, we have one bad year and it's like nothing happened. They can spend without consequence, we can't.
