Is Savio nailed on for Citeh? I know he was on loan at Girona last season, but he's not in the multi club....yet. Nicolas Gonzalez from Fiorentina could be a good match for us. 12 in 29 for them last season.

Gonzalez is a good shout

Rough translation:
“Milan's transfer market has a slow trend, at least in this very first phase. The management is evaluating several 360-degree situations both inbound and outbound. One of them certainly concerns the situation of Malick Thiaw: the German defender has a large market abroad.

NEWCASTLE BUT NOT ONLY - In recent days Milan have had a direct confrontation with Newcastle for Thiaw that manager Howe likes so much. The Magpies probed the Rossoneri club's readiness for the sale of the strong German defender who is attracted to the Premier League: his agent Stipic already in January had started probing several tracks in that league. Contacts are expected in the coming days with other English companies that have shown some interest.

THE SITUATION - Milan's idea would be to hold Thiaw back because the defensive department needs reinforcements and not outgoing revolutions. Clearly, in the face of really important offers, in the order of EUR 35/40 million, he would be in a position to at least have to evaluate them. Malick is waiting for news about the future and would like to improve the current salary of 800 thousand euros per season. And the Premier League temptation gets stronger and stronger.”

Shows the amount of money Tosin would've saved us - ah well.

Depends on wages offered. Tosin was being offered £100+kpw so 5yr deal = £26m + Unknown signing on fee as a free agent you’d imagine around £10m = £36m

This kid is currently on £21kpw so double his wages at £42kpw = £11m + £24m Fee and signing on of £1m = £36m

Also gives room to increase contract as time goes on from a lower base and not effect others in the squad.

You think a guy we spend £30-40m on will be on 40k? Dubravka is probably on more than that

Think he’s on less actually (€800,000 a year) and I only think we’ll pay £21-23m max.

Anderson probably has getting a bump up to £40kpw approx and he’s cost £34m. Was probably on around £12-15kpw here, £20kpw tops.

14 goals in 135 games for Neto apparently. What am I missing?

The rich tapestry of consequential actions that lead up to goals not scored or assisted by said player.

But if he’s going to be one of our front three you’d want better goal return than that still?

I think Neto is brilliant but can you sign someone with his fitness record?

I think it will all depend on the price. Rumours are Wolves want £60M and that is obviously a crazy amount and IMO isn't worth paying considering the history of injury. £40M though? Would that be worth the obvious risks, maybe it would.
