As long as he doesn't act the bell end and we get a good deal, can't really object if a player has the chance to compete for the title and double his pay. Same applies to Tonali, Hall and possibly Gordon. We remain a 7-8th placed club in terms of spending power, and with infrastructure that feels barely mid-table.

Same applies but only max one of them can be allowed to leave. And it can't be Hall.

Tino is probably the one I would let go TBH, he's great but a decent RB could be found and would affect the overall squad less.

Wanted by Arsenal according to Edwards.

Basically he either signs a new contract or we have to sell. Hopefully the former.

I get random journalists putting this out there, but local journalists putting out utter nonsense is beyond me.

He's only got 2 years left?

Yep, so it’s sell in summer or his value starts dropping pretty quick.

Hopefully he signs a new contract though.

My Arsenal supporting mate reckons it’s a load of crap as they’re after a backup RB for Timber

I can see Tino going to Man City for about £75m.

Oh dear. I think he won't be renewing tbh so we literally have to get shot of him. Yikes realistically we get what 50-60m then?

Thinking on the volume of needs this summer, if Tino did go it might be a possibility to give Miley the RB shirt next season and bring in a good back up. Kick the can down the road for a year

Obviously doesn't work if Tonali leaves as he would be needed on midfield

Miley needs to be pushing to start in CM, he has an incredibly high ceiling and we need to develop him there.

If Tino goes then we need a new starting RB with Miley as backup for now and to also sign a young RB that can be trusted to come in and give us some minutes if needed and eventually develop to be the backup/competition for whoever the first choice is. The youngster needs to be someone of the ability like Kayode or Fresneda had before their last transfers as opposed to how much they will probably go for now

That would make him the most expensive fullback in the world.

We can't get that with just 2 years left but it's the kind of fee we should have been shooting for yesterday.

I always use Gvardiol as a benchmark who city paid 90m euro for. And he came without England caps without PL experience etc.
