Nine
Incredibly efficient, super unlucky he broke his foot early last season and Gordon ended up having the season he had or we could be talking about this guy being our starting player there. Exiled in Texas
Harvey Barnes scores a Harvey Barnes goal. A cookie cutter goal - cuts inside onto his right foot, gets a half yard of space and curls it into the top corner. Seen that move many times from him…. Love it

If you watched from the angle directly behind him, it was probably two yards wide at one point before curling in past a helpless keeper. That was a glorious strike. Kid Icarus
The problem with Barnes is that he's so good from the bench that he's a bit of a victim of his own success if he doesn’t immediately do the same from starting.

SteV
Interesting (and obvious) comparison with Ginola given the goal and strip. Completely different type of players obviously, but interesting that he’s already scored more for us than Ginola did.

Kanj
Soon as he cut in, just knew he was hitting it, and soon as it left his foot I was wheeling away in the living room
Conjo
Nice bit of tempo change to get past the two defenders before the goal, very similar to the way Joelinton made space for himself to play Murphy through against Spurs.

Zero
That probably explains why he is on the bench - he needs to be at LW, and Gordon preferred position is also LW.

Schar is now level on Prem goals for us with Andy Carroll. Thanks to Schar, Steven Taylor is no longer our best goalscoring defender (Prem era). https://www.11v11.com/teams/newcastle-united/tab/stats/option/scorers/
