Never good enough to be a regular starter, and definitely not a man you'd want in the trenches as someone said above. Probably our best finisher, and absolutely lethal when on form. We just need to be better at utilizing him when in good form, and quicker to remove him from the field when he's not. Then we brought Murphy on to compound the misery . Elanga being a disgrace is expected at this point, but Barnes has been honking for far too long now as well. A more tactically astute manager would have realised a long time ago that our wingers are all to varying degrees useless and changed formation and found a different way to play. We have midfielders and full backs who can provide the width. My biggest problem with Eddie has always been his tactical inflexibility and that's one of the reasons I hope we get in a new manager with some new ideas.
