He still has a bit of work to do defensively.  But I don't think it is hyperbole to suggest he is world class in possession.  The ball is glued to his foot when he's dribbling past players.

I do think he's "get at-able" defensively. It's my only doubt about him going.

I do not agree with that, really at all. He has significantly improved his 1 v 1 defending and cross-blocking. He regularly pockets the best wingers out there.

He's been great but he has to start adding assists to be considered in the elite for his position. For the attacking positions he often gets in his final ball can be poor.

The assists (and goals) are coming. I have zero doubt about that clicking for him, unlike Tino where I'm not sure he'll ever be good in the final third.

You think?

I thought Dango, Salah and Man U, PSG had success up against him. Not that he was poor or a weakness but get at-eable. Moreso than Tino.

I think Hall can go up another level in that regard and just cement himself as one of the best.

Almost nobody is as hard to get past as Tino mind, not sure there's any FB in the world that combines Tino's 1v1 defending with Hall's ability with the ball. You'd be talking about one of the best fullbacks ever to play the game.

Think there's a middle ground between Tino and Hall 1v1 like. He's 21, he should get physically stronger and faster and learn the subtleties of the position better over time.

Trippier was get at-eable for 90% of his PL career imo. His first 2 years with us being the only 2 he wasn't. Think Hall is better at defending than Tripps has been for most of his career already tbf.

Apart from sealing our first cup win with a cross from deep in the final third with his weaker foot that landed pin point on top of our player, he'll never be any good in the final third!
