Geogaddi
It's not even the fact that Joelinton is awful up front, you just lose so much of what we have midfield as well by moving him up top .

madras
If and it's a huge IF, Joelinton does get used up front then it has to be Gordon right, Almiron left, aiming for more cut backs than cutting in. Joe's worst up front is with his back to goal.

The difference (outside of who's best up top) is that we would play Gordon wide instead of Joelinton wide (swapping with Willock). Not sure if that's a huge difference to our midfield in particular. As much as I love Joelinton, he still hasn't hit the form of last season in the midfield (yet). Edited November 25, 2023 by Erikse

samptime29
Going to be difficult with our injuries. A draw isn't a bad result if we can nick one.
gbandit
Smash them, 3-1 win. Sterling for them, Willock to get one for us, Jamaal to get one and maybe Gordon
The Butcher
All depends on Isak. If he's fit we have a chance. If not I think we'll get beat.

Billy Warthog
Hard one to call this, a lot depends on the starting line up of course. I think we'll win by one goal, will probably concede too.
nufc123
If we can get Isak and Longstaff on the pitch we look strong. Livra will do the job in defence and Lascelles has been solid.
Yorkie
If Isak starts then we shouldn't really have any fear going into this one. Not only is he really good, it keeps Gordon on the wing and Big Joe in CM. Despite all the injuries, we're close to full strength and somewhat rested. Our levels will inevitably drop because of the congestion but I think the expectations should be pretty high today. If there's no CF then it'll be extremely difficult.
