Wasn't vintage us, but it was more than enough and effective. Hopefully the win can give us a lift.

Feel like the second goal right after the break kinda killed it as a competition a little. At that point we shifted a little into game management mode to an extent

Well that was as easy as we could have realistically asked for, Sunderland where awful especially given the hype around some of their players, not sure if they where overawed by the occasion but they offered nothing.

For us that was exactly what the doctor ordered, a comfortable, calm and assured away win that gets back to winning ways, with a clean sheet with our defensive issues of late, and a thoroughly dominant and controlled performance, that will hopefully give us some much needed confidence.

Was great watching a game without VAR too, so much better without it.

That view of a half empty stadium while we've got a wall of black and white in their stadium. Feels bizarre that they gave us 6000 seats right behind the goal.
