Dr.Spaceman
I hate that midfield three, but it's all we've got
Alberto2005
I don't agree with Howe on Burn over Tino tonight, hope I'm wrong but can see Diaby running him ragged.

Playmaker
Our bench again looks horrific no options for Howe. I Hope Wilson is back for the next game.
Displayname
I dont get leaving out Livramento at all. He should be one of the first players on the team sheet. Edited January 30 by Displayname

What’s the options?? What else can we possibly do with our midfield? Are people really this daft.

I get we're in poor form, but You'd think we hadn't just had an amazing two years with this same set of players and manager. None of that is really relevant though to our current form of being the 2nd worst team in the league in away games playing a top 3 side at home
Beren
Burn was strong last game. And if Murphy can't go the distance Tino is a good replacement off the bench. With what's available I don't hate the team selection.

Yorkie
No complaints with the team. Finally an attacking option off the bench.
SUPERTOON
5 minutes ago, reefatoon said: What’s the options?? What else can we possibly do with our midfield? Are people really this daft. Aye can’t pick anyone else, but he can set us up differently in terms of tactics. He needs to have done so tonight to give us a chance.
nemtizz
As long as it’s not a carbon copy of last seasons game. Not promising with that midfield.
Colos Short and Curlies
8 minutes ago, reefatoon said: What’s the options?? What else can we possibly do with our midfield? Are people really this daft. 3 at the back, 2 sitting deep and a hybrid 10/8 it’s a subtle shift from how we end up a lot of the time but puts more discipline in the deeper 2 and gives Isak more support. Only thing would be a tactical change, which we know Howe won't do anyway so pointless mentioning it too much really.
Fezzle
Christ the depressing posts are already coming, can't understand why some even bother if a little rough patch has them reaching for the cyanide all week. We haven't even got the posts from those who actively enjoy us getting beat yet

We haven't even got the posts from those who actively enjoy us getting beat yet Maybe its because given our dearth of options we could at least change the formation. 4-2-3-1 to get 5 in the midfield to combat Villa strength. Instead just more of the same.

Colos Short and Curlies
And I’ll get this in now - there are 4 on the bench who I wouldn’t be unhappy if they end up on the pitch tonight, 3 of them who could switch up the attack and/or midfield
