Villa surely can’t play as badly as that second half.

They played some decent stuff. Unlike us they didn't take their chances.

Pulled up from what I saw.  Don’t think he’s built for a high-press game

He’s fine with the right rotation. He’s not a 90 minute player in this tactic, that’s all. We need 3 strikers to rotate.

Miley's been class but if he's gonna play this role then he needs to not be allowed to use his right foot in training.

I see it as a positive that at his age he has the confidence to use his weaker foot when it’s the best option

Great first half. This feels like the ‘old’ NUFC. Good press, better on the ball and a more solid defensively. Think the midfield 3 has looked good with better balance than the last few weeks. BDB has been monstrous this far. Praying that we don’t concede possession and back off 23/24 away style during the second half.

Classic kick to the bollocks with Isak going off - need cover for the forward areas ASAP.

Yeah if they score all their chances and we don’t score all ours they’d be winning.

I was meaning us winning like

My fault for putting it 3-2 (although the 2nd line should give it away  )

Could easily be 3-2 there has been so many chances either side.

Excellent to get into HT with that 2-0 lead.

Could easily be 0-3 or 0-4 but whatever you do dont change and look at the objective or positive point of view.

Really? They certainly haven't had 3 goalscoring chances

Only had 3 weak shots on target.  Strange comment really.

Nailed on  . We concede late goals and they always seem to score them.

No need for this fucking shit either.

The Miley overlap on the left has been nice and very effective at times. Clearly something we’ve been working on. Shame about Miley’s left foot mind ?but the movement is great.

Mcginn has been impressive for them!

Think keeping Wilson and not trading him was a mistake. Always injured so never able to give Isak a breather who seems pretty injury prone himself.

Deffo. Wasn't a criticism as such, just his opportunities to shoot or cross - from this position - are always on his left.

We've such a player here, like.

Aye, I think that’s probably more the case tbf.

Howe need to manage this better. Especially if you know he really cant play 90 min over a longer period.
