Joe White (on loan at Leyton Orient)

He looked miles off it to me at Celtic but I had a feeling we were going to keep him around as emergency depth in CL given his club grown status. Makes me mildly more hopeful we're actually going to sign a midfielder. Naive fool.

Yeah first touch and everything was severely lacking in the Celtic game. Not that it's fair to judge anyone on one game and he looked capable in previous cameo's. But yeah would imagine it's likely never going to make the step up.

You'd hope he could better than League 1 level at the age of 22 if he's going to make it here

I think we all know he's not going to make it here, same with Parkinson, Murphy, Ashby, Harrison, perhaps even Neave etc. Sounds harsh like, I'd love to be wrong but I just find a lot of our youth prospects who have spent time around the first team in recent years very nondescript. None of them seem to have any stand out qualities, not particularly quick, strong, tall etc. Just kind run-of-the-mill decent technical players. Miley, the only one who has broke through had immediate presence and something distinguished about him.

Shahar is probably the one I think we could see something of in the coming years.

He’s not going to make it here but this is the grimness of PSR-ball. We renewed him on a multi-year, loan him out every year (so he’s off the wage bill) and then hope that on one of his loans he does well enough that someone stumps up £500k-£1m and we book the profit. It’ll be the same with Alex Murphy.

What happened to Sanusi. He looked raw but class last summer.

Has played for the U21s in pre-season. He spent the last three months of the season injured, so I presume they are getting him back up to speed with meaningful minutes with the U21s in pre-season (he did 45 mins in their last game) rather than going on tour with the senior squad and likely not playing or getting small cameos.

He's still only 18. I have high hopes for him. Very raw but looks different.

Meet Joe White

Much anticipated sequel, has a darker theme than the original. Ends with the protagonist dropping down the lower leagues, but ends on a high note with Mike Ashley’s soul being taken to hell
