I had to as well.

It's like just because a team isn't as good they shouldn't be able to play well or put us under any kind of pressure. Never mind the fact they were fighting for their lives with relegation looming.

Embarrassing stuff.

You have to feel a little sorry for sheffield, they really gave it a go in the first half, just emptied their tanks. Thought longstaff had a brilliant game for them, played some killer balls, splitting our defence wide open.

With no pressure on them anymore - a lot of teams at the top are showing pressure with Man U 2 wins out of 9 and Liverpool dropping points quicker than a Xmas tree in January. Also isn’t this 4 wins 1 draw and 1 loss in last 6 for us? Hardly worrying form

Don't fancy away to Burnley if we play like we did in the first half.

Burnley are playing well at the moment. Looked like an easy fixture couple of weeks ago, but will be a really hard game now.

Must be tough to be a Sheffield United fan at the minute. I mean we were genuinely dreadful for a good 25 minutes at the start, probably the worst we've been all year but they didn't get near to capitalising on it,  moment we put up any sort of resistance they just completely folded.

They're really bad like. One of those matches where the players know there's only what's expected of you, or a shock. They got there in the end, but it's clear we need to be on it from the start unless it'll become a habit.

Dubravka: 6

Livramento: 6.5

Krafth: 6

Burn: 7.5

Hall: 7

Longstaff: 5.5

Bruno: 7.5

Anderson: 6

Murphy: 6

Isak: 7.5

Gordon: 7

It was more about our game than theirs. I gave them props early on for how they set about us, knocked the ball around really well too. But we just looked very disjointed and confused, we were barely at the races in the first half.

It was an embarrassing performance from us. We could have been down 3 or 4 goals to the worst team in the league. Our press was shocking and non existent for 45 min, flat all over, horrible in possession. Everything that was written was totally justified.

The first 30 minutes were fucking horrible - gifting them all they could ask for. But they didn't score the goals even though if they were half clinical they would be up by 3. And then they folded, which is why they are the worst fucking team in PL. They have let in 97 goals with ours today.

And sorry, we cannot carry Longstaff anymore - Even when we lead, he is losing the ball, falling over trying to win freekicks, cant pass 2m. Even when winning it was torture.

Weird one that. We were awful in the first half and decent in patches in the second and yet scored 5

They're absolutely chod mind you. Defence and goalkeeper a proper joke.

Very good win in the end and decent results so far with Man U and West Ham only drawing. If Villa can do us a favour later and restrict Chelsea to a point or less then it's been a colossal day for us.

Missed the game and just read through thread from start to finish. With you brother. ‘Twas grim reading.

Not really a massive surprise that the first half was difficult given it was their last stand, but we were rank bad too and gave them something to bite in to. Longstaff and Murphy were rotten in particular.

Second half was better, but 5-1 definitely flattered us. Feels weird to be negative after such a scoreline, but we need to be much better next week as Burnley have been grinding out some results

;D

The Arsenal fans I know are unbearable. They are absolutely gagging for Isak the shameless goofs.

When they were linked so strongly prior to us signing him, they were all moaning that he wasn't good enough.

As for the media in this country, they're so toxic man. All top players should be in the top 4 teams, because I presume those are the only teams they all support?!

Absolutely tragic.
