Wasn’t it reported this deal and the Miggy one were necessary for us to pass the June 30th PSR deadline? Not sure we do the deal unless it’s a certainty they have to pay.

I don't think so, I think it was more that it just helped our overall PSR situation and gave us more wiggle room going forward.

This wouldn't go through until July regardless.

Juve have a few really hard games if they are to qualify for Europe. 

 

It would be typical if they fail to qualify and the rumours are true as I can't imagine anyone else paying anything near £20 million for him.

Apparently it isn't a requirement, but it would be remarkable if they don't - Juve has failed to qualify for Europe only five times since 1963 (91/92, 06/07, 07/08, 11/12 and 23/24) and two of those seasons was because of the Calciopoli scandal and subsequent punishment

Over the past 49 seasons, they've qualified for Europe 48 times.  

 

Michell should be held accountable for such a stupid clause.
