Lloyd Kelly set to join Juventus on loan with a £20M obligation (Ornstein)

I’d sell if offer is around £10m.

We have Lascelles coming back and Krafth is fit for emergencies.

Just need some luck and players still fit. If we sell and get Champions League (Europa is a minimum) then we’re in a strong place ahead of the summer.

A decent fee would go along way towards us getting the RCB we actually need far more in the summer. Got to consider it IMO.

I guess we've had our fingers burnt with Guehi now but I'm surprised there's been nothing more this January with that. I'd have tried to sign him with allowing him to finish the season at Palace on loan or with an agreed summer transfer. Every window that passes without him signing a contract is a depreciating fee, but the Chalobah/Radi situation means they can't afford to lose any defenders. Feel like there'd be opportunity to exploit that now we're not as urgent in need.

No way thats crazy low.

Agree, on a normal weekly wage that's attractive for many buyers, say like 30k pw, factor in age, development, he's easily a 20m player.

I feel what makes his position awkward is his agent managed to negotiate a silly weekly wage with us based in him being a free agent, that then becomes off putting to buyers, and drives down the initial fee.

£15m and we’d be daft not to take it tbh. The big clubs take opportunistic sales like this when they come along.

Big clubs would eek out 20m if they had their version of Lloyd Kelly - we need to do the same

No idea why he came on tbh [emoji38]

I can only assume it was to offer some kind of aerial threat, but I agree, it was a strange sub. Hall wasn't playing well but is at least capable of creating something.

Can you provide any evidence that he’s on a ‘silly’ weekly wage?

The cynic in me thinks Howe subbed him on to show that he is still part of our plans to bump up a fee 😂. Considering him at LB rather than Hall makes us far worse going forward while down 2-1

But naa, I'm sure Hall came off as he was all done
