Lloyd Kelly set to join Juventus on loan with a £20M obligation (Ornstein)

Feels like Mitchell is stepping in and selling anyone who isn't playing. Eddie will want to have kept him, plus several other players not good enough, but Mitchell is clearing the decks to move forward in the summer.

It's a cracking return for a freebie who doesn't often play and looks average at best. Worrying that we are making ourselves weaker squad wise though.

Great move for the boy mind.

Can't say no at that price. Great deal. Burn, targett and tripps (if the latter two stay) can all cover. A gamble when we are already light at CB and Botman being out so long. We are playing a very calculated game though.

Honestly in terms of what we're losing on the pitch this is as impactful as Juve hoying in a £20m bid for our bus driver.

Maybe there's a player in there, but we've barely seen a glimpse of it. He's looked more of a liability than anything when he has appeared.

Good luck to him. Great business by the club.

We need to get rid of this idea that he was ever a liability tbh. He's just got us £15-20m worth of pure PSR profit.

He was a fantastic signing and fans need to start giving our recruitment team some props.

He was a liability on the pitch at times. I praised the business by the club.

It being a good sale doesn't mean his performances are suddenly better than they were.

Yes but that is based on a handful of performances. Just not enough games to write anyone off IMO.
