Stifler Posted Tuesday at 09:57 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:57 It’s 1 of SSN’s breaking but not actually breaking news. By the sounds of it, they are just going to run this story for a few weeks now.
Ikon Posted Tuesday at 09:57 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:57 Hall, Livramento, Trafford. Not a bad trio age wise. Still not 100% convinced by Trafford but I’m sure he’ll be much more mature now and his potential ceiling is high. Happy with this if it happens. Can you not piss on everyones chips please?

La Parka Posted Tuesday at 10:03 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:03 (edited) Mildly surprised it's finally happening. I'll expect elanga, guehi and tranquillo barnetta to follow. Edited Tuesday at 10:04 by La Parka

JP Posted Tuesday at 10:05 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:05 Most important thing for me, sounds like a signing that really wants to be here judging by comments last week. Exciting one!

SteV Posted Tuesday at 10:09 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:09 Once he does get in ahead of Pope we can expect medical emergencies in the East Stand to drop by at least 50%.

LFEE Posted Tuesday at 10:14 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:14 You’d suspect if we do sign him the benefit is there is more chance of retaining him for a decade. Other GK’s mentioned probably more at risk to be tempted away/back home etc. Put this lad behind a good back 4/5 and he’ll do a great job IMO. Very good fit all round. Ikon Posted Tuesday at 10:14 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:14 “Expect him to compete with Pope”. Nah, he will be number one mainly because of better feet. It’s good to say that though because if anyone’s interested in Pope then pay up what we would want.
Pilko Posted Tuesday at 10:14 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:14 Be great to get this sorted, we've clearly wanted him for a while and it's another one of those signings where if we've got it right, which I'm confident we will have, he could have that position nailed down for us for the next 5-10 years. Yorkie Posted Tuesday at 10:15 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:15 Love Popey but we need to upgrade if we're gonna kick on. Assuming Trafford does that I'm very happy.

A bit like Pope really. It will be interesting to see how much impact his ability to play the ball out will have on our game. It might be something we don't appreciate until we see it in action.
