club/regime's fault for not already having his and Eales's replacements lined up in time for the window imo

I wonder why he didn't just stay until the transfer window shut ? He would obviously be involved in both outgoings and incomings seems a bit daft the main guy leaving right in the middle.

As others have said, it's likely he doesn't want to be associated with whatever we are going to do. 

 

He clearly will have no influence over this transfer window.

Craig Hope on Talksport just now said that Newcastle is in turmoil just now and Eddie with have to take on multiple roles, I hope this isn't true cos he was burnt out last season.
