Absolutely bizarre stuff.  They give a long explanation of how the team is being altered before the game, Saka to LWB with Trippier at RWB, 3 at the back, etc.  The moment kick off comes and it looks like the team are set up exactly the same as the last 4 games. 

 

It doesn't work.  Everyone can see it doesn't work.  It's utter insanity to be trying it yet again.

I suspect the FA is not interested in managers with their own thoughts in the bench the same way the FPF isnt.

 

That is why Mourinho isn't here.

Changes formation, yet fails to fix exactly what the issue was in the first place - Foden and Bellingham being incorrectly utilised, Trippier being unsuited to the left.  He’s got Saka as a RWB, but not Gordon as a LWB?  The man is conservative to the point of dangerous

Genuinely befuddled that out of all the possible solutions, he chose this one.
