Thiaw info still all coming from one source currently (Paddy Burger). Needs a credible second source

Italian source here...The club wants to sell him, Allegri doesn't. Thiaw will go to Newcastle only if Milan finds another CB...it could be tomorrow or in a week. The player wants Newcastle, but he also knows that by staying at Milan he'd be a starter with Allegri...that's why he's not fighting with the club. Juventus also want Thiaw to exchange him for Vlahovic but he prefers Premiere League.

I read that you guys are looking at the Parma kid Leoni as a replacement for Thiaw?

I guess from our point of view it's good to hear he is keen on the Premier League ahead of the Juventus, as that would have been another potential nightmare battle for us ;D

I hope so but I don't believe it...the bastards at Inter want him more than us.

Absolutely, he wants the Premier League...and Milan also prefers to sell him abroad.

Thiaw percentages: Newcastle 75%, Milan 20%, Juve 5%.

Most of our centreback are past 30 at this point. We are not only going to need starters in this position in the coming years, but also depth. Thiaw would only be one of several CB signings to come. No problem with it, as we seem to struggle getting the premium we want this summer.

He's very much an Eddie Howe defender. Good athlete, not afraid to bring it out and comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Needs to stop going to ground so much and cut out the daft errors, but the latter seems like a confidence thing.

Don't think he improves us from the off, but very high ceiling.

He's always trying to paint us in the worst possible way. Like, if we do agree a fee with Milan, because hes said that, everyone will think we've paid over the odds.

Fucken prick.
