Think he's going to exceed expectations considerably. He also signed for Milan when he was quite young and inexperienced so is on less than £20,000 a week currently, and so he will easily fit into the wage structure at very good value you imagine. We've clearly liked the lad for a while and we seem to keep going back to players previously scouted. Not sure what the craic with Como was, but it's obviously kicked our transfer team up the arse. Seems a desperate & cheap choice to me Based on everything i've read this summer I think this is just a coincidence of how slow and quite frankly inept the management team ( or lack of) has moved than it is a cheap choice. Now granted if there are no other signings outside of Wissa or they go for a cheap option in midfield (without an Isak sale) then you are probably right, but I don't think there's enough information to suggest this is a cheap option yet. I’m aware I’m moaning but everything seems underwhelming at moment we went from Trafford to Ramsdale, Ekitike to Wissa & now Guehi/scalvini to Thaiw. Just want one signing to get me excited. Guaranteed if they knew we were interested too, Como’s offer wouldn’t have lasted a minute. Serie A clubs treat Premier League interest like a green light to charge whatever they want.
