Wolfcastle
£30m to a German club as well, not as flush as us. Makes Wolves feel within their rights to ask £60m for JSL.
teohgk
I have no idea how tf people paying 30m for him after that performance against Leeds
ToonAbroad
Hopefully a decent sell-on clause too in case Frankfurt manage to develop him in a way that we didn't manage to.

They've done it with Muani, Marmoush, Ekitike etc. Good for him. And even better is that if that happens again then we'll have the right to buy-back at low cost
TRon
Frankfurt have a great record for buying young strikers and flipping them mind.
TBG
Another few weeks in the role and Andy Howe would have got £50M for Longstaff.
ponsaelius
It does make you wonder if this one has been in the pipeline for a while, and he'd have gone there much sooner if we had got Ekitike.

HaydnNUFC
Whilst that fee for him is scarcely believable, we better pray Woltemade doesn’t get injured as he’ll be the only (somewhat) striker at the club from late December to mid January. Conjo
Great move for him and us. Hopefully for Frankfurt too.

Every chance he has a 15 goal bundesliga season and they sell him for double. His explosive bull in a china shop style might suit the bundesliga. catlover24
Our backroom staff maxed out their Outgoing Transfer attributes at the expense of Incoming Transfer
Skeletor
Genuinely mental. I saw nothing to suggest he was ever going to be good enough yet multiple clubs were lined up to give us £30m. What is going on.
samptime29
The deal is great but we surely we need a 3rd striker?
KaKa
Absolutely incredible business! Guess those Denmark Under 21s showings were really appreciated by other clubs! Love that a buy back clause was included, especially because of how good Frankfurt are at developing strikers! Kolo Muani, Marmoush, Ekitike ... Will Osula?!!! Absolutely perfect this news dropped while people were bitching about how much money we overpaid on transfers. Ha!
James
Didn’t rate him at all so this deal is amazing

Geordie_once_removed
So we have doubled our money on him? Based on what exactly? This fee more than anything puts into context how mad prices have gone. Based on this and a couple of good seasons you can easily see how the club could expect to we back most of the Wissa fee. Gottlob
I like Osula but I'm staggered he's so highly rated. He has some fine attributes but he's very raw and doesn't look like a natural striker. It's a great move for him and an excellent fee for us.
