black_n_white
May as well keep playing him up top for the remainder of the season now. Does well it’ll only encourage other teams to take a look in summer, or he might actually develop into a decent goal scorer for the club.

Osula has the pace and pressing aggression Wolt doesn't, likewise Wolt has the quick thinking and backheels to create a pass that could set him on his way. I'm quite impressed with him and would be a bit disappointed if we gave up on him this summer. I like this idea and we've got nowt else to play for. Let's give it a whirl! Stottie
Given his age and minutes played at this level, Osula is a fine prospect. Strikers take much longer to develop these days. There are no more Rooneys and Owens banging them in at eighteen. If we bring others in, it would be fine to loan Osula out for half seasons at a time. Sell him and there's a good chance we'll regret it like Minteh and Anderson. As for who we should be playing now, I've not got a clue. If Howe is deffo staying, then yes build toward next season using whoever Howe has faith in. If Howe is leaving, fuck knows, just try and entertain the fans maybe. I don't mind Wissa being a write off, but big Nick has shown enough to deserve a chance back up front now Bruno is back.
Newcastle Fan
Could've saved 125m and just played him and Gordon upfront. I do think out of the 3 strikers he suites Howe's style the most, the last week is exactly the sort of goals Isak was scoring regularly. Woltemade is a talent but its not his style of play and Wissa showed up looking like he's retired. Edited April 24 by Newcastle Fan

Bomb out the 2 signings and go as is.
stozo
Thought he did well today. Caused one of the best CB’s in the league problems. Big year coming for him next season (assuming we don’t flog him for £40m to fund the rebuild).
Big Geordie
Yup - I thought he did OK, but was again isolated and let down by poor service.
Vaj
Thought it was a poor decision to take him off. Would have taken Willock and Murphy off for the two that came on and put Osula out wide personally.
TBG
Goal of the season if he makes connection with that first effort.

Runs so fast that he just falls over, even when he scores he looks like he is about to go down
dcmk
Can we put more respect on this kids name now. His goals to minutes is outrageous for a 22 year old striker in the Premier League, in a struggling team.

Decky
Have to keep him. Honestly with the shite we have up front this is the last person who should be moved on.
Fak
Always thought he was a bit of a donkey but a handy tool coming off the bench later on. Showing lately why Emery was trying to take him to Villa
Whitley mag
Stan Collymore esque for those of a certain vintage.
KaKa
That's now 3 goals in his last 4 starts. Has now played 589 minutes in the Prem this season so around 6 and a half matches of football and has 5 league goals to show for it. We'd better not be looking to sell this guy. Have to move Wissa on ahead of him if it comes down to it.
