Will Osula

Recommended Posts

I can see the arguments for both TBH, personally I would've gone for Osula because he'd be the one who would be able to score a goal on the counter almost on his own. Wilson doesn't have the legs for that. But I guess things like defending set pieces Wilson might have the edge.

I suspect we'd have put the game to bed on the counter is Osula had been on, but who knows.

I think Eddie will have wanted experience on given the slightly precarious game state. Ironically he then proceeded to do what you'd expect an inexperienced player to do, twice, by trying to score rather than the simple square pass

Osula is still an absolute loose cannon at the moment

Bloke plays the game at a completely different tempo to anyone else

I would say that's a good thing.

I'm not saying it isn't, just an observation that he seems erratic irrespective of games tempo or what's happening.

He should consider himself extremely unlucky he's not had more game time later on in matches, especially ones we are three goals too the good in.

Poor kid can’t even get a start over a perma-crocked Wilson.

There's a good chance Wilson doesn't make it past HT so he could easily be on the pitch for 60+ minutes tonight.

Nah, we'll stick Gordon up top and bring Barnes on I imagine.

He will get some minutes today i hope, he's got good potential but starting him away at Anfield after not playing for a while could've been too much pressure.

This applies to Wilson more than it applies to Osula.

doesnt seem like he feels the pressure much.

stood up nicely to birmingham's bully boy tactics. i know thats not the same as playing at anfield, but he does look like he's some arrogance ans self confidence about him.

Hope he starts at weekend. Feel his made shit house running will disrupt Brighton more than Wilsons play (that's unless Osula starts RW and Wilson up top).

Not gonna happen. If Isak is still out, Wilson will start. Osula has barely been given more than 5 mins so far.
