I'd guess even if he stuck around Eddie would still have him 4th in the pecking order behind Gordon so it's not too surprising if a fee like this is on offer. And while I don't feel like we specifically need a striker as a like-for-like replacement, getting an attack-minded player through the doors with this money could help unlock our attack even more to no end. alexf Posted September 1, 2025 Share Posted September 1, 2025 Osula may have been raw as fuck and uncoordinated from time to time. But he did provide an option both in attack and out wide. He is tall, fast, has a trick and can cause problems. We now don't have that as an option even if it was just as a back up. Agree wholeheartedly that the fee is good for him. But I would like us to atleast try and pick up a cheap option for squad depth before the window shuts. One injury to our new guys puts us back to needing Gordon.
