the heat

Teams are forced to play at altitude in Bolivia which is unfair for the away sides. In the heat it’s the same for everyone and they could choose cooler locations/times of day.

The club WC was roasting and they got round that.

so combination of heat in the northern areas and rain seasons in the central areas.

I was in Marrakech in July, and it averaged about 115 degrees throughout my time there. Also a large number of countries generally ruled out as hosts because of ongoing conflicts and infrastructure.

@KaKa don't let it wind you up. It was silly and I'm sure was meant that way.

On topic, I do think he's got something this kid, and if he's a Tindall pick as rumoured then fair play to JT.

Was reading earlier Moyes complain how hard it was to find a striker, any striker,  when he was at West Ham and, what £10-15m was it? Would be sensational business if he can be an impact sub or better in a year or two.

(Headed back from town post match after a few pints and couldn't quite figure out how to put that in a grammatically correct format so apologies if that didn't make sense.)

Something close to your heart?

Indeed.

Having an opinion on the Tournament is fine. Calling it shitcon is disrespectful.

As I get older I think stuff like ‘Livershit’ or whatever is overly disrespectful.  But I don’t have that type of humour.

The pitches don’t tend to look particularly ‘optimal’ like.

Feels like sometimes what makes him such a great impact sub (ie the chaos/unpredictability) is exactly why he isn't really trusted to play regularly.

He's clearly got something about him but I think Howe prefers someone who will largely follow instructions (eg Gordon) and presumably he doesn't fully trust him yet.

Hopefully gets an opportunity midweek.

I do agree with this. I just didn't want to say it in case it reignites the Ben Arfa under Howe debate.

Shitsian Cup or something yes I would find that disrespectful

What's the difference between calling the Asian Cup shit and calling it Shitsian Cup? It's the same thing.
