Shays Given Tim Flowers
It’s nice being able to bring on players who might have a positive effect on the game.

Tiotes Witch Doctor
Can't deny the improvement in his contributions so far this season, hopefully he keeps improving.
John P
If he can chip in with 10+ goal contributions over the season (which he's currently well on track for) as our young 3rd choice striker then he's a really useful option to have in the squad. Even if he mostly does it against the smaller teams in the cups, the fact he can come in and do a job whilst the main strikers get a rest is really valuable in a season where we'll (hopefully) have loads of games
OverThere
He is definitely improving, especially his positioning to make himself available. I noticed a couple of runs in the last few games when he is in that seam where one pass would mean he is in on goal. Before he was always behind a defender and not an option. Thank goodness that we did not sell.
Shak
Good to see him making the most of his opportunities. The fact that he’s also comfortable playing wide (it’s possibly his best position) is a real plus for a third choice striker.

The way he plays and his personality tend to make people think he's more comedy than he really is. That said, really happy he's getting a chance to get more minutes and he's contributing. Imagine him coming on and running in behind etc, after you've been chasing Waltemade deep for 70 minutes, is a nightmare. Yeah, comments about him running around like a dog chasing a paper bag etc, while I can see where they are coming from, it's also part of his strength in that he runs hard at people and tries to cause carnage. He lacks polish, but he can hurt teams and offers us the pace we are missing as an option with Isak gone and Wissa out of action.
relámpago blanco
Much better option that Wilson was coming off the bench last season. It was sad to watch Wilson last season.
PRL
When Woltemade was Osula’s age he was playing in the German 3rd division. I’m not saying Osula will turn into Woltemade but there’s still plenty of time to improve, literally just turned 22 last month and showing some great signs this season to date. Wouldn’t mind seeing some Big Willy alongside BNE at some point while Wissa is out. Could really dick a team...

Optimistic Nut
Him & Wissa are also comfortable on the right, wonder if maybe a Murphy sale in January or next summer while he's at his absolute peak could be an option?

GEFAFWISP
Feel like he can be an Alex Mathie or Leon Best right now given his development, bit part scorer and sometimes assist/chance contributor. He has all the physical tools to make it happen, and does so for Denmark U21s. Good option but he can look dogshit / chaotic just as well, funny option overall. Menace
Not sure how to feel about this one. I was more than happy to see the back of him in the summer but I didn't expect Wissa to get the injury he did - but at the same time he's played a role so far this season and he manages to get 10-15 G/A in cups/league as a sub its a good return. Providing its a loan to buy and not just a loan. Which wouldn't make sense for the club to agree on. Thoughts? As it stands, I'd be keeping him. He's getting minutes and we should probably see how Wissa comes back. If we're still in LC with a chance of progressing in the Champions League, I'd definitely be keeping him. If they want to come back with something like £35m, then fair enough, I'd probably take a punt on that provided we bring a replacement in. Not sure it's in our interests to let him go on loan at the moment.

I'd keep him for this season to see how he does, then decide if we stick or twist in the summer He's young, he's improving, he can make an impact off the bench and could start against weaker opposition if we needed him to He seems to be a well liked character in the squad and he appears to be happy here Edited October 7, 2025 by bobbydazzla
Menace
I agree with that, but if its a loan with a guaranteed buy for a decent price it makes it a hard decision. Then again is the striker market next summer going to be even more bonkers?
AyeDubbleYoo
If we don't desperately need PSR money than I would personally keep. I know Wissa will likely return well, but Osula can still get some minutes and cover wide areas as well. Maybe a loan with recall or sell with buyback if we think he'll really benefit from a season at Frankfurt. It becomes a no-brainer if Suds has a 17 year old Uzbekistani wonder kid lined up who's playing in the Tibetan third tier and will only cost £8m but is a guaranteed 20 goal a season off the bench bagsman baller xG destroyer However if we're relying on established leagues to find a replacement then shopping for one in Jan will be very tough and expensive and next summer less tough but possibly more expensive Edited October 7, 2025 by bobbydazzla
Yorkie
I think he's adding a few quid to his value every time he plays atm, plus we need that cover given all the games. Sell in the summer for daft money imo.
AyeDubbleYoo
We need other positions in Jan as well, FB for one and CM if we can shift Willock.

Abacus
I'd definitely be keeping him till at least next summer. With the amount of games we have he's essential to give Woltemade a break and even when Wissa is back he'll get minutes. Certainly better than sticking Gordon up front as an emergency option. Crimson Cardigan
He’s changing my mind, I wouldn’t let him go in Jan now, especially not on loan. Fair play to the guy, hope he can keep it going. If he could just add a bit more nous and footballing IQ to his game, maybe he can learn from Big Nick.
