Two footed like Dembele

Howe was willing to adapt his style, his undisputed first choice for RW was Olise last year and then Mbuemo this year. That Athletic article mentioned he wanted a technical left footed right winger

I always find Schar hilarious in these videos - noting that the Swedes have a lot of control now in the dressing room - bloke is as smart as they come - always thinking ahead

I think securing a right footed but genuinely two footed in Elanga will prove to he the better option - it’s clear as day Isak thrived off of great right footed deliveries from Murphy so we’re not changing any of that with Elanga, but now we have a genuine two footed option with Elanga now who can deliver with quality with his left like an inverted winger. It’s brilliant move tbh.

Can come inside and allow Tino on the overlap.

Just watched the videos. What a mint lad he is. Can see exactly why Howe wanted him based on his personality.

I kind of liked him as a player even before we found out about his personality tbh. Two footed, and he has the confidence to ping in crosses first time instead of taking the extra touch someone like Murphy needs. Minteh has that as well but he's a lot less polished.

I know recruitment has been frustrating but the quality of the individuals we’ve brought in is superb. This kid seems to get it, I thought he was overpriced but hopefully we’ll be talking about an £80m player next season. I’m willing him on.

What does he do that makes him better than that? Or is it just cos we signed him you feel like this?

17 G/A in a pretty defensive forest side last season with electric pace, two footed and his best years ahead of him. Forest fans seem genuinely gutted to see him go too.

That's better than a little bit above average.

And the same numbers the season before, Murphy gave us these numbers last season but it was by far his best season G/A wise in a lot of years. It seems Elanga is more consistent.

If we’re quoting numbers he seems less good than Minteh. What happens to those numbers when he moves from Forest is the q, and is where he could get a lot better. My point is price doesn’t leave room for downside

How many assists did Minteh get last season compared to Elanga?
