Just a reminder the Keown praised the time wasting "tactics" of Arsensl at HT...

The amount of times they 'had to give Newcastle credit' for being 1 up, the better team and better defence while Arsenal offered nothing was crazy.

Really hope we can carry this forward against non-top sides, which is where our performances seem to drop lately.

I think it's more we can do it at home but can do it away from home which is the main issue

Agree with the rest of your post

No! Who are you to deprive people of a good moan!

It's all some people have in their sad, empty lives... 😅

"If Gordon had scored x chance and Isak scored the other one we would have x amount of points" etc..

So not what you said I'd said then. It was in a wider point about our performances improving and there being fine margins with our results. I said that quite a few times at the time but for some reason you keep persevering.

I didn't mean that you said it, didn't remember who did (was quite a few). But good thing margins goes both ways. Beating Arsenal is fantastic nomatter what happened, didn't mean to complain here.

You didn't believe few days ago.

I’ve always believed, I was loosing hope mind!  We looked back to our best and midfield tweaks have been made and have proved fruitful. I expect this to be a platform of confidence for the fans and the team to build on. I would expect a performance at Forest. I’ll go into this game more confident now. We can win playing like we just have. Good to see.

Yeah, basically I just think they're very different. A Rice header skewed wide vs our multiple one v ones and a missed pen. Let's enjoy this though.

The bitterness oozing out of Arteta after the game. Referring to how we play, their ‘big’ chances and that we didn’t create much. Implying we play a stop/start physical game and they don’t FFS.

Awful bloke.

Fair point, they actually didn't have that much.

Yeah to be fair I could see us losing to forest. We struggled against them in the cup and only won on pens, and it's a difficult place to play away.

You can lose against anyone on the day, only thing which would disappoint me is if we conceded more sloppy goals. We looked solid today for the first time in a long while, and it went a long way to getting the result.
